Hey There ~

We are Karen and Daniel! Welcome to our website!! We have enjoyed a lifetime passion for horses, and our dreams came true with the additon of Jan to our family in 2004. Thanks to Jan's overwhelming popularity, we have been blessed repeatedly with the company of wonderful horses and many fantastic new friends.

Kadan Farms is a small family operated farm in Southwest Missouri, just outside of the small farming community of Billings, 20 miles SW of the city of Springfield. Centered around a 100 year old restored farm house, our facility includes a 6 stall barn with breeding area, heated wash rack, feed room and lab. The hay storage, shop and dog kennels are in seperate buildings. We have a 'brady bunch thing' going on with family - between us we have five young children, ages 9 - 13. Needless to say, there is never a dull moment, a clean house or a full refridgerator!

In addition to raising horses and kids, we have a 'herd' of dogs too: American Bulldogs are our focus, but there is always a few extras around (most noteably 'Daisy' our ever so humble Bassett Hound). We hope to add American Bandogge Mastiffs soon. Our kids are offically the owners of some of the dogs, so in addition to the fun of having so many loveable pooches and the excitement of puppies, this will be their introduction to business thru breeding, marketing and selling a few puppies each year! We must not forget to mention our cat, Mamma, who is the official Barn Manager. We love all animals and have been active for several years with horse and dog rescues and have happily helped many find their way from sad situations to loving forever homes. Our hope is to pass on to our children a lifetime love and respect for God, animals, and life in the country.

Our good friends, Derrail and Mindy Roland of the 4 13 Ranch in Shady Point, OK became our partners in ownership of Jan in 2007! We are thrilled to have them on board and know that with them on Jan's team, there will be no stopping him!! They also do all of our training for us. They are not just friends and trainers and now partners, but they are like family. Mindy and Derrail are a wonderful young christian couple with amazing skill and savy, and are very likeable to boot!! If you are looking for someone sensible to start colts, or show for you, we highly reccommend them.
